10 CROMEX Lù

HIGHLIGHTS

Though admittedly in a boring game, referee from China did not show a preventative piece of officiating. Some clear fouls and cautions were missed - I would highlight especially the situation in additional time at the end of the 1H - and he showed a lack of awareness to wave back on a Mexico player who had received treatment, who immediately and predictably took the ball from his opponent.

That being said: the call that decided the game - Penalty + Red Card (DOGSO, nowadays only a caution) - was spot on, if not that difficult to see.

Sankar Komaleeswaran was once mistaken in his offside judgement, Taoufik Adjengui probably so, but only the former's situation was on replay. ARs were fairly busy, and without many replays being shown, seemed to do well generally.

Lù Jùn - 8,1
Sankar Komaleeswaran - 8,3
Taoufik Adjengui - 8,4

  1. Maybe not the most challenging game overall, but you had to be on your toes. Lù Jùn showed little, especially when it came to prevention - various oppurtunities were warnings (at least!) should be given were ignored (2’, 9’, 26’, 58’, 77’). For me also two missed cautions for sure: 11' (reckless) and 45'+1 which was even a SFP judging from a screenshot. Penalty was ultra-clear.
